The quality of our silos, dischargers and conveyors is backed up by the excellence of our factory-based and on-site engineers. Your bulk storage and handling equipment will be designed, manufactured, handled and installed at all times by highly qualified, quality-assured and experienced engineers who are dedicated to delivering your systems right, first time.
Quality by design
All Portasilo bulk storage and handling systems are designed to the latest Eurocodes, using chartered engineers and Ansys finite element analysis software. Structural design is also carried out to the latest Eurocodes using chartered engineers and STAAD 3 software, 2D and 3D AutoCad, StruCad and Inventor software.
Precision engineering
All Portasilo welders are qualified to EN287-1. Our in-house machine shop and fitting bays enable us to maintain tight control over the manufacture of your silos and equipment. All painting is carried out in our workshops using the latest water-borne paint systems.
Inspected for excellence
We carry out detailed inspections at all stages of manufacture and prior to despatch, ensuring that all products meet strict quality criteria. Non-destructive testing (NDT) is available on request.
