Ground Level Testing

Vertical ladders are generally used to access silo roofs to carry out service and inspections. As a result any such work is covered by the work at height regulations 2005 (WAHR 05). These regulations protect anyone, anywhere and at any height. As such risk assessments are required with 3 stages of control (avoid, prevent, minimise).

In order to avoid, prevent or at least minimise the need to access the roof, Portasilo has a range of equipment available for ground level monitoring and testing. This range includes monitoring of filter differential pressure and high pressure air supply as well as ground level testing for level probes, pressure transducers and pressure relief valves.
