Horizontal Silo

Portasilo has developed a new concept in silo storage, the horizontal silo. With its easy transport and ease of putting to use, it is an ideal vessel for temporary storage of powders and granular products. The unit can be delivered on a standard flat bed vehicle and can be placed in position by using a crane, lorry mounted crane or forklift.

The silos are available in three standard sizes 36m3, 54m3 and 72m3 and are supplied fully assembled and ready for use. Standard fittings include discharge aids comprising both aeration and vibration, screw conveyor with 1000mm outlet height, (optional inclined screw conveyors are available upon request), high level probe and reverse jet cleaned filter unit.
