Superflo (dense-phase conveying)

The Portasilo Superflo dense-phase pneumatic conveying system features a unique online airflow monitoring system and in-built blending capacity. Manufactured in both stainless and mild steel, it is capable of handling either single materials or a blend of materials over a range of 350m at a rate of up to 100tph.

The system has a design life in excess of 1.5 million cycles, which is typically 30 years in normal operational conditions. The online airflow monitoring system constantly evaluates the effectiveness of the conveying process and automatically adjusts the system to ensure optimum performance at all times.

Lean-phase conveying

Portasilo lean-phase pneumatic conveying systems are tailor-made to suit individual customer requirements, providing optimum operating conditions and ensuring ease of operation and maintenance. Lean-phase systems use low-pressure to convey the material and allow maximum flexibility in conveying rates. They have higher velocities than dense-phase systems, with lower capital costs. Lean-phase pneumatic conveying is highly efficient and reliable, with economic operating costs.

Vacuum conveying

Vacuum conveying systems are individually designed by Portasilo to suit specific material characteristics, using standard modular components. We manufacture systems from stainless steel, carbon steel or a combination of aluminium and stainless steel, depending on your requirements. Vacuum conveying can be used for free-flowing, cohesive or explosive products.
