We understand the importance of safety to all our customers. All our work is carried out by fully trained and experienced engineers, in line with the strictest health and safety regulations.

When you choose Portasilo you can be sure of the highest levels of safety and exceptional working standards on your site. We provide the highest quality at every stage of your project, from planning and programming to CDM, health and safety (NEBOSH) and specialist sub-contract management. Specific, well-qualified individuals are appointed for lifting operations and our welders are qualified to EN287-1.

Our installation teams comprise highly trained engineers, all with CITB passports. A dedicated foreman is allocated to every installation to ensure specific programme duties and the strictest safety standards are met.

Environmental and safety accreditations - for your peace of mind

To give our customers complete confidence in our health and safety and environmental credentials, Portasilo complies with the very latest legislation and follows strict codes of best practice.

As part of Shepherd Group, Portasilo is working towards gaining accreditation to the internationally recognised ISO 14001 standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
As a company we are also embracing OHSAS 18001, which is a Specification for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System.
Portasilo subscribes to the Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) operated by Achilles Information Limited.
