• Dished head contour - for efficient discharge and durability

The combination of a dished head main body, convex baffle and performance-engineered lower cone delivers uniform flow on demand, without compaction and with no need for cycling or secondary baffles. With a wall thickness typically 50% greater than other dischargers of the same size, the dished head of the Vibra Screw Bin Activator is the strongest in the industry. It is also an energy-efficient design, which can considerably reduce headroom compared with other dischargers. The strength and efficiency of the dished head contributes to the activator's long service life, even in extreme conditions.

• Forged hanger suspension system - for strength and reduced vibration

The Vibra Screw Bin Activator is supported by a series of forged steel hangers fitted with steel core elastomer vibration isolators. These provide enormous vertical strength along with near total isolation of bin activator vibration from the surrounding structure.

• Beaded sleeve - eliminates leakage and slippage

This patented sleeve is moulded in one piece with four retaining beads to eliminate the problems of leakage and slippage. Stainless steel clamps fit securely between the beads and are easily tightened. The innovative sleeve design is so effective that it can withstand internal pressures up to 10psi. Special compounds are available for high-temperature processes, as well as a flanged, bolted sleeve for high-pressure applications.

• Oil-lubricated gyrator - for low-noise, long-life operation
  

Included as standard exclusively on large Vibra Screw Bin Activators, the oil-lubricated and cooled gyrator provides long-life service and quiet operation. This device sets the standard for the industry, and thousands have been operating worldwide for more than 25 years without service interruption. Large force-generating eccentric weights are mounted on an extra large shaft revolving in oversized, precision bearings. The drive motor is mounted in line with the eccentric weight assembly, but works through a floating coupling so that the motor bearings carry only the motor rotor. As a result, motor life is several times greater than that of a typical double-shaft vibrator motor.

• Pre-assembled mounting ring - for fast and simple installation

To ensure trouble-free installation of every Vibra Screw Bin Activator, a pre-assembled mounting ring is supplied as standard. It enables all activators to be shipped to customers fully assembled, ready for bolting and welding to the bin or silo.
