Portasilo’s innovative range of VIBROFLO and VIBROCONE vibratory discharge systems address many of the problems associated with traditional vibratory discharge devices.

The system is robust and versatile, and suitable for a wide range of products and process applications.

The evolutionary design of the VIBROFLO discharger removes the achilles heel of vibratory discharge devices, which is the
circumferential seal.

In doing this, Portasilo has produced a dust-free vibratory discharge device which, because of this feature, can be supplied in either circular, square or rectangular formats and mounts directly to a standard flange.

The VIBROFLO discharger also differs from other devices in that an inner cone is vibrated directly. This ensures that all the energy is put directly into activating the product and because the amplitude naturally varies with head load, giving maximum vibration at the point of peak demand.

Since the energy is applied symmetrically to the product, eccentric discharge and the potential for the discharger slewing are eliminated.

Additional benefits of this design are that there is minimum vibration entering the silo shell which reduces the likelihood of problems with fatigue and with any process equipment attached to the silo.

This feature also enables a level probe to be fitted into the silo outlet cone allowing for effective control of feeding of downstream equipment for the first time.

A standard range of VIBROFLO and VIBROCONE dischargers is offered by Portasilo in mild and stainless steel with bespoke models available for specialist applications.
